LIVING HURTS

Contributed by emystar on Saturday, 24th February 2007 @ 03:18:47 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Delight yourself also in the

LORD, and He shall give you

the desires of your heart.

: Psalms 37:4

SultryRose's Signatures

Dieing is real sad but
we all still gotta do it.
Living is life eternal
No matter where we sit.

Been at deaths door even went in.
Doesn't hurt to die, no, no, no
yo, yo, yo.
repeat

So being eternal wisdom
lets me smile, in at noon
Plant seed of joy around
where eva we luv's found.

Be contented slow to anger
Like Jesus in the manger.
Show luv by being luv the same.
Forgiveness in life we sustain.

Know that luv reachess
beyond Earthly realm.
Treat others how you
Wonna be treated, no flim flam.

I liked the main essence of the poem. It's quite rare that I come across a positive poem anymore.

Could you tell me, is this meant to be a song? Because I wasn't sure when I saw the second stanza.

Emy...

Love it girl... Strong meaning and hit me hard...

your words: "Doesn't hurt to die,"

It only hurts your loved one... Which is the reason
for this song... isn't now...

Thanks my friend
Bill

You're right, emy... there's no avoiding that eventually end. And yes... it's how we live that determines... well... how well we live.

Thanks for the reminder -

beautiful as always. "plant seed of joy in pain"- my favorite line. we can't know what joy is can we, unless we've experienced pain. loved it.

divinely inspired emy.. truly-

I feel the hand of God in this, guiding your every word~
..as I'm sure, we'd all be better for it, to live and die by this credo~

painfully beautiful my friend~
you've invoked in me, much humility with this~

Emy, my dearest friend .. this piece sends shivers
throughout my entire being. Wise words, my friend.
Especially those last two lines! An incredible truth!

Compassionate and beautiful, as you've always been.

peace and love,
~Breezy

Words of wisdom beautifully portrayed on loving living and dying. You might say... having visited deaths' door, it's not a fear anymore, which makes life's burdens easier to bare.

Those are thoughts your lovely poem brought to mind....

Well Em, I for one am glad it didn't just 'float on by'... You speak the truth here, and the words resonate with me even more just thinking about where you live, and having been through the horrors of Katrina and all... If that wouldn't be a humbling experience, then I don't know what would. Thanks for posting; your writes/songs are always a pleasure to read : )
