A Miracle Once, A Miracle Twice

" A Miracle Once, A Miracle Twice "

He ran around all of the bases
right into home plate
short stop grabbed the ball and threw
it had to be his fate
The soft ball sailing through the air
it hit him in the head
he wobbled as he suddenly fell
they thought that he was dead
They rushed him to the hospital
his brain began to swell
his family and his real close friends
all began to dwell
They rushed him into surgery
and let the swelling bloom
the Doctor induced a coma
we thought it was his doom
We all placed our faith in God
to heal this strong young man
too many sad days now have past
we do not understand
This kind of trauma is not new
he’s been through this before
he had a tumor in his brain
back when he was four
His mom and dad are great
the love they have for him
standing strong with heads held high
even though its grim
The heartfelt love was strong
his mom and dad now shared
all our prayers answered
my nephews life was spared
A Miracle Once, A Miracle Twice
for this strong young man
a special child living life
through God’s loving plan
God has a special reason
for this child to live
A Miracle Once, A Miracle Twice
is what our God did give!!!!!

NOTE: This poem was composed by me for my nephew.
He had a brain tumor removed when he was four.
He was hit in the head with the ball at twenty two.
Thus, A Miracle Once, A Miracle Twice

A great testimony.
I'm a walking, talking miracle.
God is so good to us, huh?
Big smiles,
emy
