LostLove
|
clouds weep
of love's lament,
recycled tears
rain on empty branches,
wooden statues bathed in rain,
standing stoic, no one listening,
brittle bones cast in ice
this too cold winter,
shivering beneath,
will they bear fruit again?
strings of heart
serenade this longing soul,
waiting anxiously,
one more moon, full in face,
come and go, count the days,
the kiss of spring returning leaf by leaf,
paint by number, fill the empty page,
fill me up, with you again
