in my dreams,
you and i, we're not apart.
in my dreams,
you're still the king of my now-broken heart.
in my dreams,
I go back to when i had you,
In my dreams,
You love me, and you never make me blue.
In my dreams,
I tell our grandkids about how we met,
In my dreams
I tell them how hard you were to get.
In my dreams,
i hold the kids i'll never know,
In my dreams,
I watch our loving family grow.
In my dreams,
we grow old and you kiss me when i cry
In my dreams,
you're with me till the day i die
Yes, in my dreams
we're still you and I
But they're just dreams
and this brings
a tear to my eye
