New Addition

Contributed by sadaddy on Thursday, 22nd February 2007 @ 06:18:47 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

We received a call today
To tell us of your great news
But all I could do was think
Of how I saw your life to be

You sounded so happy
But I could not be
Even though it is a blessing
And you wanted me to be

I could not bring myself
To say I was happy for you
You are so young
I could not believe
What has been done

I know I will be happy
Once you return home
Knowing that you are safe
Because they are such a blessing

No matter what has happen
I could never turn you away
Because I will always love you
For this I have always told you

So I wait for your safe return
To our perishes and loving home
So we once again cherish you
As we once did before

We welcome this new addition
To our family with open arms
What blessing this child will make
We will love this child the same

A baby having a baby... This makes me feel how
lucky I am... Although I get stressed when a boy
comes within 20 feet from Megan...

I tell ya my friend... in everything you write I feel your pain but, most of all I see your love for your daughter... And I know you don't sit and think of the words, they jst come... I am always praying for you my friend...

Bill

Eventually she will see the ill's of her ways...
keep lovin'

This is a great poem. not everyone is happy when a new arrival is expected and this conveyed that emotion very well!
