Still Loving You

Contributed by devils_denial on Thursday, 22nd February 2007 @ 10:36:53 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

* Dedicated to an ex-gf *

Since the day we parted,
I've always thought of you,
Thought of what could have been,
If we stayed together,

To be honest,
I've never stopped loving you,
In one way or another,
I've always missed you,

Missed your smile,
Missed your touch,
No matter what happens,
I'll always love you,

That unforgettable day,
For all the wrong reasons,
I'll always remember,
‘Cos that day I left for home,
With my heart…Broken,

My love for you was insatiable,
Beyond any imagination,
My love for you was,
Unlike no other,
Until that day,
That day you broke my heart,

Still I think about you now,
Wondering if you are okay,
I guess in a funny sort of way,
I still love you,

this is a sad but such a devotional piece.. everything happens for a reason though.. God has someone else planned for you.. if you still love her though its probably because you haven't met the right person. this is a very beauitful write though thanks for sharing..

Great writing.
I know eactly what you mean and as I read this I got a vibe to share,You being the loyal one and one that got hurt the most or at all. What I see is your dedicated luv and I think the reason we still luv the one that broke our heart is eactly that, like me so many times, you gave luv and obvious this other person didn't luv back. Naturally we'd still care 'cause we give unconditional luv.
Hope that makes some sense.
big huggs, prayer,
emy
Maybe you can find some sanity in these thoughts. Just know it wasn't you that wondered so you have no reason to feel bad. In time you'll understand even if you can't stop luving this person, start luving yourself more.

The pain that hurts the most is unrequited love.
Yes, it is possible to still love someone so deeply and passionately even when you part.
And that my friend is a pain no one can heal. only the one you love.
Well done. Hope you heal soon.
