If I Get To Heaven First
I will be waiting there
Standing by the entrance gate
of the golden stair
I will not enter without you
I want to hold your hand
God’s Angel’s will try and push me through
The golden gates of his Heavenly land
I will paint a star just for you
to wish upon every night
I will stop and not go through
until I hold you tight
You will see my smiling face
when you come to me
Complete again by your grace
through eternity
So If I Get To Heaven First
I will be waiting there
Standing by its entrance gate
of God’s golden stair!!!!!

such a beautifully creative heavenly write.. this is such a hopeful write.. especially those who have lost a loved one.. it gives them the comfort of knowing that their loved ones are waiting up there with God for them. very lovely write.. such an inspiration

The title reminds me of an STP song
I dont remember the name but the chorus is "If you go to heaven before me ask if you can bring a friend" |
