To my dear friend

Contributed by oneir8dude on Tuesday, 20th February 2007 @ 11:15:57 PM in AEST
Topic: ambiguous

I know your days seem dark…
And relief won’t seem to start…

Your pain is the worse you’ve felt…
Asking for God’s grace you knelt…

It feels that our father denied you…
And he didn’t pull you through…

It seems he only takes the kind…
And pays the harmful no mind…

In fact, he has been with you all the while…
Urging you to raise your head and smile…

For he would soon take the pain away…
And add sunlight to your gloomy day…

When things seem so far down…
And the days weigh on your crown…

I ask that you raise your head…
And listen to what he has said…

The signs are always there…
If you look they are everywhere…

Maybe he sent me….
