It fills my heart with such gloom.
I feel like my days are destined for doom.
I cry all day to comfort the pain.
I do it all to keep me sane.
It overcomes me more then I can bare.
A life of such sadness and dispair.
No love for me is how I feel.
I apain I can no longer deal,
Leaving a life I once knew,
to start it over without you.

this is so sad.. but the ending is kinda hopeful which is good. it ended for a reason.. you will heal and feel better.. there is a right person out there for you.. hang in there. well penned expression here

Loriann, I really enjoyed this for two reasons as the first being the brillent composure to present to your readers with such emotional impact. The second is the fact that by writing about your feelings is a healing process and that is a great sign that you are going to be fine over time. Like one of the other comments stated there is a special someone out there for you and when you least expect it they will come into your life and make you so happy and complete. I am glad this situation did not cause you to decide to place your poetic pen down because you and your wonderful words of poetry would be dearly missed causing your readers to frown. Great Poem.
