Here's Johnny!

He was a great asset to NBC.
Everybody was sorry when he retired, including me.
I used to watch him years ago.
Everybody loved watching Johnny on the Tonight show.
I have fond memories of Carson and I'm sure that most everyone does.
Leno is good but he's not as good as Johnny was.
Carson was very talented, that can't be denied.
An entire nation mourned when he died.

Praise for the King of Late Night

My favorite all time Carson retort came when he used to air live and his guest Zsa Zsa Gabor brought her cat on set and while sitting on the couch in a weird moment of quiet as everyone watched her long stroke his fur she turns to Johnny and says:
"Johnny would you like to pet my pussy..."
He replied way to quick "Sure lady move your cat!"
This caused the network to implement a 3 second delay on all live telecasts which is still in practice to this day.
