Patient Heal Thyself

Contributed by yangdantien on Monday, 19th February 2007 @ 09:25:11 PM in AEST
Topic: didactic

An art, craft, discipline
to quiet this mind,
embrace an inner silence,
so many fear as death,
few others know
as unending treasure.

Let breath seep
slowly and deeply.
Hold your tongue
to the roof of your mouth
at the soft palate
where there is a perfect hollow.

First mixing spit
so bitter to drink,
charges with trickles,
the souls distillery,
round orbits crown.
One's life force once
misapplied or squandered
now prepares to circulate.

This elixir is spirit,
mixed with flesh,
a subtle alchemical
charge while pressing
tongue firmly up
switches a bridge of birds
that whirlpools from Lao Tzu's grotto.

Remember the last time you saw
a baby giggle?
Feel the curves,
angels bundled
in radiant mirth,
as contagious love is reflected,
cheeks transport,
shifting good energies in
up turned lips
to pointing eyes shinning.

Recreate the blooming face,
softer now to look upon oneself
with this wand of joy.

Focus on the right side
ribs uncaged.
Smile to your Liver
where a 1000 gigabytes
of kindness and anger
are processed daily.

Kidneys awake by touch.
Behind hips rub circles
each side in balance,
fear and joy spiral as both
can make one pee their pants.
Be dry aligned with jovial eyes
echoes of awe resound.

From belly to Lungs,
bellow for courage
or depressed,
take the breath that
starts in exhale,
push out and away
all unwanted pieces,
anger, fear & hate.

Organs complete with core,
to rise & fall
in love with your heart,
where a honey-like
cascade of warmth
slides over being alive,
conversely similar to homesick,
now glows in home as health,
for one has tasted the 'good virus'
spreading splendor,
and reverence to all
that is your flesh.

We are but a body driven by a mind and spirit. It reflects the never ending cycle of life. The body forever leaves the spirit spins its many journeys...so why do we fear what we should know by now...we as spirit travel through the universe so many times...oh yes you are wise to try and tell us so....that's what I get from your lines and my wisdome...so I'll call this an understanding of souls....thank you

I agree with FRANCO 'bout the genius stuff, Yang! This was a masterfully crafted piece of connection with somethin' better'n' drugs! Having never had the opportunity to be a father of a child, but relishing in the fun of bein' an uncle, you have given me new insights into a world of captivation that is the child. Wonderful. Just plain ol' wonderful!

Sue totally agrees with AJ~
It is so much better than drugs. I tried a meditation class for the first time tonite and I gotta say it certainly won't be my last. It does
so much for the heart and soul. I felt so calm
and relaxed after it. It was like I was on top of
the world, floating free, no worries no problems.
You are a genuis. A true word master, who creates fine masterpieces to stimulate the readers mind and take them on a journey into the world of the unknown to explore it.
What would I do without you my dear friend?
Brilliant as always~
love n hugs from ur fan/friend,
sue m

AJ .. this is wonderfully presented, (you always
find the greatest pictures to go with your work).

I have thought so much about this meditation thing ..
(it's the quieting of the mind I have trouble with .. lol)
But, I do have a most BEAUTIFUL sound affects
CD .. (it's good when the noise of life is too loud)

Thank you for this. An intense pleasure to read. : )

Yes, it can do wonders for the soul and the spirit, indeed. When I used to meditate, or more to the point tap into my chakras, I used to get afraid one day I just wouldn't come back... maybe because I didn't want to... I love the title too, and all that it entails.
