Pull Me Out From Within.

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

They say an end can be a start
But not even time will heal my broken heart
For me it seems to work in reverse
As time progresses the pain gets worse
Too many tears have had to fall
It's getting too hard to be strong
I'm so tired of it all
I was told the lord works in mysterious ways
But not even God can help me in the darkest of my days
So burn me at the cross
My heart has been my life's greatest loss
I'm tired of praying when nobody cares
Can you hear me now? are you even there?
I can see the surface, I can see the light
Can you see the suffering in my eyes tonight?
I've lost this fight
Your the only one I ever truly loved
I always thought you'd end up coming through for me somehow
And if you could help me
Would you do it right now?
Would you...
Breathe breath into my breathless lungs
Lift me up, Restore my heart
Give me back all the pieces you tore apart
Tear off my flesh and bury my face
Whatever it takes to get me out of this place
Whatever it takes to hide what's inside
Cuz I would do it for you
Anything to see you smile
I stuck by your side the whole time through
I woulda sold my own soul for a second of your pride
All you had to do was let me in
Tear away my scars, wash away my sins
Come and take my hand
Pull me out from within
But it's just too late now
You never really loved me
And I never wanted this to end
I just thought you cared...
I thought you were my friend.

Well it looks like you pulled it all out from within yourself and that's a good thing.
I hope you feel better now.
I'll put you in my prayers and keep you there.
Great writing!
big huggs, sweet prayers,
emy
