I went to a party last night
With five people I didn’t know
And I talked about my self like I didn’t care what they thought
So everything was not uptight
It was just all right, and I kind of liked it like that
College life, dirty clothes, sandy hair un comfy pillows
A debutant killed in the night- six candles lit, no flashing lights
Then I went out traveling
I shattered a Snapple bottle on top of a car,
It started honking and I scattered off
Pretended I was chased by cops
Walking through hallways and corridors
Tapping buttons on elevators
College life, dirty clothes, sandy hair un comfy pillows
A debutant killed in the night- six candles lit, no flashing lights
And today I knocked on two front doors
One let me in and pretended I wasn’t there
The other didn’t open but I knew
That someone was in there
Then I went to my car and listened to some old ska songs
And listened like it was the summer
College life, dirty clothes, sandy hair un comfy pillows
A debutant killed in the night- six candles lit, no flashing lights
With each passing day, I seem more aware
Of not knowing anything and falling behind
I wonder why I can’t stop it all
But I’m trying to get on the right track
However, it’s hard trying to set things right
When everything just feels so wrong
College life, dirty clothes, sandy hair un comfy pillows
A debutant killed in the night- six candles lit, no flashing lights
Absurdist plays were studied last Friday
I didn’t read the one we were suppose to
But I cheated and got 10 out of 10 on the multiple choice
In discussion, I heard everything I needed to know
To understand, that in my life
I’m about as absurd as you can go, it’s what I do
It’s who I am
College life, dirty clothes, sandy hair un comfy pillows
A debutant killed in the night- six candles lit, no flashing lights

This is more like Hard Apple Cider. I was a bit drunk after reading such an excellent song. Truly Sparkling and rich with turns of corner and phrase.
Well Done
Peace
