Witnessed Death

Suicide

Why do you cry
when all the rain stops?
Why don't you see
how the sun shines on you?
You were always the
winter-weather type
You never wanted anything
brighter than blue.
Where do you hide
when the stars turn up?
You turn away from
my smile
You like the dark
you always said you'd
wanted to die.
I haven't seen you in a while...
