Far past the cayon vistas
and empty fields of endless green
'Neath the skies and ever onward
crawled this slow and vast machine
Who knows by whom this thing was built
or what design it meant to serve
yet in it's stride this juggernaut
seemed intent to ever search
and so with strength , against the wind ,
the massive engine struggled on
until one day , where still it stands ,
it found the end of earth and rock
and 'pon the edge of ocean mist
in endless days of silent fog
it stares out into nothingness
as though in search of something lost

I really liked this one. It had a beautiful flow to it. I wish you had a title maybe something like "to the ends of the earth". It's not the best of titles, and a title is never as good when it's written by the artist by a title is better than no title at all. Very good write. |

I love the way this could be applied to just
about anything and your readers can come
away, each with their own unique pespective of it.
My curiosity has definitely been roused. :)
Great work, doug!
