We have a past,
but a future, not so much.
I still so long to feel your touch,
Have you forgiven my mistakes,
or is the blame still mine to take.
I cared about you,
you know that, right.
I pray for you still every night.
I see you've moved on,
for that I'm glad,
though your smile makes me sad.
You look at her, and I know,
you used to look at me just so.
I wanted to tell you, I love you still,
Always and forever, I will.

a_bit_naieve, I really liked the message within this poem and the way it came about being composed by you as it contains a lot of emotion and thats always a big plus for any author. I want to welcome you here and hope to read a lot more from you. Thank you for sharing your poetic talent with us all and for giving us a little of your creative personality. Wonderful Poem.

| It's VERY 'alright'. 'Always and Forever' is written in a contemporay style but has the universal appeal of heartfelt devotion. It's a little sad, but that reflects your mood at writing. Nice, easy reading flow, with excellent attention to content. There will be a lot of people that will relate to your poem. |
