Call it a sin
To refuse to rebuild
What causes more damage.
Call it a downfall
To reject taking on
More dependency than one can manage.
Call human nature names,
Those who have made themselves forget
How to forgive.
Insult their being,
For what soul can dare to wish away
Dearest moments better left unlived.
Ask invasive questions
And force upon them newer labels,
But never beg again for trust.
Bear their bitter silence,
For they alone remember
Others’ trespasses, too unjust.
Scream to undo their behavior,
But never to avail,
For within their cycles are they trapped.
Dependent on independence,
Lonely though are the lives they lead,
But that is how to tragedy they adapt.

I liked this , it seems to be made up to random thoughts pieced together -abstract, but leaves an overall feeling of sadness , hopelessness very well done. |
