Yesterday...
as the buldings tumbled down,
crushed into the sacred ground.
Smelled the breeze...
felt the world become deranged;
the violent, shifting winds of change
bring darkend clouds and angry sound
Apocolypse now gathered round
Count the pages as they turn
Smell the buildings as they burn
Feel the angry planet turn
Hear the hungry people yearn
Pray the kings and queens may someday learn
Feel the angry world turn
In the aftermath...
Gathered forces overhead
Veangence for the martyred dead
Hear the scream...
A veangeful nation’s war machine....
The flames of righteous vengeance seen
Let nations tremble in the night
Beneath an angered empire’s might
Ruling madmen push the pawn
Frightened masses spur them on
Changing times have come and gone
Distant from the bloody dawn
Safe away from plans they’ve drawn
Changing times have come and gone
In the beaten land...
Screaming as a tyrant falls
Rising as their freedom calls...
Changes come....
Count the millions as they stand
See the righteous forces land
The angered eagle’s vicious scream
betrays his master’s darkest scheme
Read the politicians mind
where truths and lies grow intertwined
The faithful masses ever blind
The sacred causes undermined
Where schemes unheard of come defined
The faithful masses ever blind
On the street today
Saw the people on their feet
Speaking of the great deceit
Changing wind
The masses set the course again
Be damned the plots of ruling men
Set loose the blood of changing times
Let revolution judge the crimes
Lest governments set histories
Lest rulers pick their enemies
Let people claim their destinies
Smell changing times upon the breeze
As masses rise from bended knees
Let people claim their destinies
