Contrary to Consequence

Contributed by Man_On_High on Friday, 16th February 2007 @ 12:59:41 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

And so, remember him..
For he has gone on a journey
And if adoration goes,
Still, his promise rings:

"Away with superstitions,
Ancient bodies, couples
And ages".

It is this epoch that has foundered
And he will not come again,
Down the trail, of any Heaven.
He will not acomplish the redemption
Of the anger of women
And the merriments of men.. or of all this sin.
So it is done;
He being.. and being loved.

By breath and his many flights,
What terrible ecstacy of perfection
And of his new form and addiction;
The immense fertility of mind and body!
The dreamed-of release, grace slaughtered..
Crossed by new violence!

His vision and the old kneelings,
Raising pain at his passing..
The abolition of all resounding
And restless sufferings;
Muderous music.
Migrations more vast
Than ancient invasions of the past..
And pride, no more compassionate,
Than the many lost charities.

Oh world! And the song of new evils!

Take heed this winter night,
From cape to cape,
From tumultuous pole to tumultuous pole,
From crowd to shore
And glance to glance,
(Force and feelings now weary, by chance)
To see him and send him away!

Under tides, or high in cold, hard ice-
Still, to follow his vision, his body, his day.

B

All the power and excitement of the powerful moments in life is here. I caught a hint of that.

I admire especially the line From tumultuous pole to tumultuous pole, which is a little risky in such immediate and somewhat lengthy repetition, but not only works, it works powerfully. Well done, well done.

An incredibly moving piece, and I daresay a masterpiece; even among your admirable work! Such passion in each line, each word. This left me transfixed --- very well done Billy.

Dearest heart .. it looks like I’m not the only
one to be inspired by the music .. *winks*
(it’s incredible isn’t it? ) :)

Truly .. a real testament to your talent, love.
(I admit to having to have read it several times ..
your profound perspective is, at times, a bit
difficult for my comprehension :P )

I found this impossibly flush with depth .. strong
in conviction, but unbearably forlorn in certain instances ..
and laced with an undeniable mystery ~

you are sensational!!

être bien, mon amour

all my love,
~Breezy

such a strong write i am left in complete awe...scorp sums it up best...but let me add that this had a sort of "implied" imagery that formed as i read this... i saw sandy hills, setting suns, purple horizons and stigmatas ... or maybe thats just because i'm crazy...lol

awesome write brother-love..

Billy you Fraud!

I for some reason cannot but the url here but this takes all of two minutes to see for yourselves. Google "Away with superstitions,
Ancient bodies, couples
And ages". and you will all see this entire work is not Billy's
