My Valentine.

LoveRemembered
|
I lay wondering, gazing beyond
those gentle sailing clouds,
what sun without
a bright warm shine is;
what moon without a
clear dark sky is.
What rain with out
pure drop of water is;
What on earth without
silly ol’ human is;
What human without
love and compassion is.
What love without a
woman to share is;
What woman without
knowing to reciprocate is;
What February fourteenth
with out a Valentine is.
I lay wondering, until my adorable youth turned gray
longing for my Valentine to emerge from her grave.
FRANCO.
