You Left Us Last Night

Contributed by none_of_your_business on Sunday, 23rd February 2003 @ 10:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

You left us last night,
'Cause you could no longer fight.
This world finally got to you,
And you couldn't make it through.
But you left us last night,
And we miss you with all of our might.
You had so many friends to talk to,
Maybe you didn't know they cared for you.
So you left us last night,
And never again will we see your light.
We are all grieving for you now,
Hoping we'll make it by some how.
'Cause you left us last night,
And took away our delight.
Our school will never be the same,
We will always remember your name.
Never again will we see you in our sight,
'Cause you left us last night.

  • This poem is beautiful and is a great memorium. I am really sorry about Sean, it is always hard to lose someone that you care about or even someone that you don't care about that much. Keep on writing poetry because you are a great poet. You truly are.

I second the above sentiments. It is always hard to hear of someone so young dying.
