Beauty

Contributed by Daniellle on Monday, 12th February 2007 @ 02:36:13 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

You dismissed my flaws
Ignored my incapabilities
Didn't want me for my looks
Loved me for my soul

You weren't like all the others
You only cared about the inside
And because of that factor
I felt beautiful on the outside

My heart grew warm with love
My sould burned with passion
I've never felt like this before
You gave me consciousness of myself

Wiped my tears and held me at night
Laughed with me, scared away my fright
Knew what I'd say before I said it
Knew what Ithought before it came to mind

We were two-in-one, a package, you'd say
But in someways, I'd disagree
You weren't part of my life
You were part of me.
