Just One Look.

Contributed by bleedthelove on Saturday, 10th February 2007 @ 10:05:49 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I curse the day
That she went away
Still devoted I stand
Never led astray
From the girl who won't even look my way
But I'm losing sight
Of whats right
And nobody understands
That I'm standing here
With my heart bleeding in my hands
In this lonely space
Begging her to just look at my face
Just a chance
A glance
Something
Anything
A whisper
A sigh
Just one look
Before I die
I've been strong
For so long
That now everything in my body
Hurts to the touch
Decaying from the sorrow
Of missing her so much
And theres not much more I can say...
I'll just keep praying,
That she looks my way.

bleedthelove, Love of longing is a very powerful emotion and you have described this extremely well. Thank You for sharing such an emotional poem with us all and for giving us a little more of you. Great poem.
