In Forests Rain

Contributed by lostrelic on Saturday, 10th February 2007 @ 02:57:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Silently in forests rain the calmness soothes this frightened child inside
Dripping cold emerging from cellars deep clutching to what ever I can hold
Silently I walk into this great unknown such broadens to see
Leering in the darkness is the true life that bee’s
Slums and ghetto’s like the stereotype it sounds
Fueling the anger no matter how it’s spelled
Like a forgotten rhythm a sound we have forgot
We dance to its beat and the words we have forgot
Coupled in fragrance and the words that we seek
Blinded buy truth and the words that we speak
Playfully flocking to the sound that’s around
Forgetting the truth that speaks to us loud
Whispering sympathy a fiddles last song
Leaving the guilt and forgetting out the wrong
Falling out in faith but feeling the truth
Looking for answers seeking the root

lostrelic, I really enjoyed this composure and the journey it sent me on as the images captured within my minds eye became vividly clear as the emotions felt were a rapid heart beat and a feeling of explore. Thank you for sharing your poetic talent with all of us and for giving us just a tad of your creative personality. Wonderful poem.

Dang!! The rythmn holds you to the read, but it's the content...the words themselves that bring this out.
You have incredible lines in here!, Couplets.
Bravo!
