Two Years Later

Contributed by Kie-Kie on Friday, 9th February 2007 @ 10:39:43 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

"The inevitable happened"
"What do you mean?"
"Chris is gone Kiela."
"Don't lie to me."
"He passed away an hour ago.
His heart just gave in."
"Justin, don't you lie to me."
"Kiela, please listen.
Before he died he said to me
'Tell her I love her still.
Tell her that I'll watch over her.
I promise, I always will'"
"He was fine, he todl me so.
I believed him, I really did.
Despite the fact I fought with him.
Oh god, he was just a kid."
" I know Kiela, I miss him too.
And it wasn't right or fair,
That he was only seventeen
And I had to just stand there.
There was nothing I could do.
Believe me, little sis, I tried.
Chris just didn't make it."
"I can't believe my true love died.
We fought because he lied to me.
He said he would be ok.
I knew better, so I got mad.
But, inside, I believed him anyway.
Justin I want my boyfriend back."
"I know little sister, me too.
He was my best friend.
And I kenw he'd take care of you."
That's how I found out
Two years ago today
That the boy I'd spend my whole life with
Had left me, passed away.
And I still miss him all the time
I think about him too
About how much I wish I could tell him
Hey, I still love you.
So tell the people you love, you do
Even if under your breath
Because you never know just when
They'll meet an untimely death

sigh......yeah you've said quite a bit here. A story within a story as it were.
I won't try to say anything about things getting better over time, or hoping you feel better...
I will say, I hope you never forget the love...
