there are too words to describe how i feel

Contributed by zeppchic420 on Saturday, 22nd February 2003 @ 03:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

i can't truthfully say that there aren't words that can describe the love i feel for you, because I could sit all day and write about how wonderful you are to me

You've not only shown me what it's like to truly love a person with all you have, all you are, and all you'll be, but you've showed my heart what it's like to finally feel a soul, feel wanted, feel adored

You've taught me how to open up once again, how to tell my head that it is possible for a broken heart to be mended

Your voice alone brightened every dark angle of feeling in my world

Now that you're a part of my life my eyes don't see any plausible way your arms won't embrace me each and every night for the rest of my existence

You've become my "better-half," if it weren't for you my sanity would be in the lost and found

The mere thought of you and i speaking those two infamous, ceremonial words at the altar brings joy that nothing any previous, once thought ecstatic, actually lived moment, has ever brought to the deep recesses in my heart that have been carved by careless, now meaningless, factors in the past

It's almost as though you and i are but one soul that was fractured in two and it has been trying since the beginning of time again meld into one

See-I told you- there are words that can describe how i feel for you Alex. and it all really comes down to this- I LOVE YOU BABY-
(I love you more ;)

I often feel that poetry is defined by the passion and true feelings we place into the things we choose to write. This piece is an amazing declaration of love and as such is sure to stir the emotions of those who read it. As such it is truly an example of fine poetry.
Nice write.
