What's Love?

Contributed by lost_chadow on Friday, 9th February 2007 @ 03:10:57 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Maybe we're in love...

Hah! I laugh at that!

Like I would really show you my true face

so you can stab my back?

Were you you expecting that?

Oh, I'm sorry, are you crying?

Well, nice me is dead presently,

partly from knowing the real reason I've kept my virginity

is because no one ever wanted me.

So go tell someone who cares till nice me comes back.

I waited and lusted and tried to relax

an make myself comfortable

while I put my feelings on blast.

Trying to hide what's truly inside

by appealing to the masses

trying to be self-centered

so I don't see the real happiness in everyone else.

I've got gangsta boys and lady pals

good friends and bad gals

friends to the end, but never taking it up a step

but don't want a girlfriend,

I don't want a relationship that's pretend

I jus want someone to give a damn!

But how can I expect children to know about that?

when they think they can see inside a man

through his clothes and his cash

How is it that these little girls

would treat me so indifferently

but because they have *****

expect me to treat them specially?

"Ain't that just like a man?"

Ain't that jus like a girl

to put us all in one category

'cause you're too scared to face the world

scared someone will take your careless words

and prove them untrue

Give your body to everybody 'cause you're scared

no one will give their heart to you.

Well speak of the devil:

Didn't I try to reach that level?

But all I got was excuses

about how I'm not exactly incredible

It doesn't matter how I treat women

I'm still gonna be alone

`cause I'm still too short,

too ugly,

too quiet

and too broke.

Quite a rant revealing the seeds of your talent. This needs some polishing and punctuation especially when you refer to 'nice me.'
Keep writing and posting and work it out here.
Additionally I guarantee if you love your life, enjoy your passions then you will most assuredly connect to the RIGHT person to share with. Do not measure everyone against that. It is a strong feeling that will pass. Just "follow your bliss."

Peace
Yangdantien

SO point blank...So change it
Make people see its not really you, or what they wanna preceieve
ONLY you can do that......ONLY you can do something differently.....SO DO it......I did like the straight forwardness, so now follow , through.. Post more, maybe little less angry.....
