I Can't Move On

Contributed by new_york_chick on Thursday, 8th February 2007 @ 11:54:07 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I can't move on
You're hanging down from every tear
I'm not in love
And it's so empty with no one there
I watch you fall
I know it's real for you this time
So what was it with me then?
Or were you never really mine?

I won't forget
Three years of trying to fix this heart
I'm still the same
Pretending I don't fall apart
She knows you well
And you look good together
But I still wish this was just a frame
To cover up for what isn't there

In the words of a former New Yorker...'keep walking'
This piece resonates with all the work you do and bring to the forefront and thats why you cant move on. It is a bitter pill to swallow but once you realize it's all YOU, your heart, your connection, your effort, you will see how truly far away he is from matching your good energy. In thick Brooklyn drawl as my forefathers would say "Hey it takes 2 to Tango" so its OK to step off the dance floor.
Beside your wish-craft is better directed to what lays ahead for you.

Well Done

Peace
Yangdantien
