Lost Hope

Contributed by linds on Thursday, 8th February 2007 @ 05:27:08 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

All hope is lost today and forever
I can't convey how shocking this is, ever
Like a plane falling from the sky
That’s how this is in my mind
Other people experience these times
But I never contemplated they would be mine
My emotions are flying
Around and around
“Oh please be okay, Granddad,
Be safe and sound”
Here I lay on the ground
Hoping all worries could be banished
But that hope is gone, and worries are lavish
Soon when I fall asleep
The waterfall will unfreeze
And the stream will pour down
With such a graceful ease
There’s no stopping it at this instant
All that’s been done is so consistent
I just want something to collapse
Anything to give in
To make my life a little complicated less
And help me to be at an enduring rest
