It May Feel LIke It, But You're Not Alone

Like a child a thousand circles spun,
Everything you loved has lost its fun.
You don’t know whats wrong,
For that understanding you desperately long.
So many emotions choking you, trying to get out.
You want so badly to scream and shout.
You’re so confused, but you can’t explain,
With words you can’t express your pain.
You try to share with friends you know,
But they don’t see why you feel so low.
This can bring even greater pain,
As your search for understanding and acceptance, ends in vain.
But then there’s comfort beyond expression,
If you can learn just one lesson.
In the garden of Gethsemane,
And on the cross of Calvary,
Christ suffered and atoned for you.
Not just to take away the wrongs you do,
But to succor you in every affliction.
I testify will full conviction,
For you he’s suffered every pain,
Because of a love he cannot feign.
So when you find no answer to your appeal,
Know he’s been too, and knows how you feel.

isrred, Yes in deed as he's been too, and knows how you feel as he felt life and lived as a mortal. This was composed with such a deep meaning and I might add by a very gifted poet. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful poem to savor and more importantly a little of yourself. Nicely done.

a very powerful write.. we all can relate to this at points in our lives.. feeling let down and lost.. this has great emotional expression.. thanks for sharing
