______________________
she was the kind of girl
who moms raised their daughters
to hate
and fathers told their sons
was worthless.
the kind of girl who people would warn you against,
the sort to make you stutter with disbelief.
– said too much with her eyes
so shameless… bordering outspoken.
Outlined in henna, doing pellizcoes
to the picking of a Spanish guitar.
An organic soul.
this girl cried honey, straight
through the cracks of her heart,
and you know people couldn’t help but watch.
Looked, but never touched.
She was some unbound child of the Universe
who knew the songs of every language and used the stars
to prophesize.
Laid down in the snow and said
‘ whatever will be, my friend,
whatever will be.’
Alis volat propiis.

The motto of the great state of Oregon meets Que Sera
Brilliantly delivered on the wings of tis gypsy girl. Quite a talent behind this pen. Others have suggested you are an excellent read and they surely were not mistaken.
Peace

This is really quite beautiful. Your words are that much stronger for being unanticipated, and the same goes for the subject itself (or herself).
I can't choose any particular favorite lines, for they are all good, but the strong ending is excellent.
Keep it up!

One of the most capturing titles I have seen in a while. The poem is beautiful, rare, elegant and tells a story in such a brilliantly simplistic fashion. One of your best writes here. I loved it immensely. SUPERB!
