Someone Who Cares

Contributed by Ari on Wednesday, 7th February 2007 @ 09:01:55 PM in AEST
Topic: hbadday

Fears racing around like cars in my head
Worried about what was better unsaid
Water is great unless you don't want to tread
Should've just waited until the dog got fed

Gold is great unless thats not what you mined
Could've figured youd just want to unwind
In time you may see that you wanted to find
Just another soul to treat you kind

But thats not the way it is
Oh no
We just keep on keepin on
For show
Living someone else's dream
For what?
Just give me my smile back
I'll trade it to someone else...

Passion for words, not quite there
How does it feel when they laugh and stare
Laughing behind just really isnt fair
Then again, do they really even care?

Reading someone else's mind, a dream
Never really knowing quite how you seem
The winner is whom? Which team?
When the loser just beams

But thats the way it could be
Just think
When everyone just knows
What to drink
Except for me
I don't know
But I will one day
I'll get my smile back
And trade it to someone
Someone who cares...
