Spin Me A Story

Contributed by Tanna on Saturday, 22nd February 2003 @ 11:30:00 AM in AEST
Topic: ThankYouPoems

Spin me a heartfelt story
While I rest my weary head
Be it a tale of love and glory
Or one filled with woe and dread

Haunt me with your bittersweet words
Soothe me with your melancholy song
Dazzle me with its sheer beauty
For nothing you write is wrong

With a stroke of your pen to paper
Or the touch of your finger to a key
You allow me entrance to your little world
And your muse, you allow me to see

So unravel your thoughts into words
Let me apply them like balm to my soul
Transport me from my worries
Help me to again become whole

Images set forth so vividly
They set my imagination free
A wondrous journey, a gift from your heart
You've earned gratitude from me.
