My heart

I look down to raging lights that burst in red and white and sirens that scream a piercing howl. Oh how it hurts to look. A death bed on wheels caring my heart is shut into the raging monster and is carried away.
When I hear my heart is no longer, my world turns black and I die inside as everything around me is not as wonderful as it once was seen. As I walk on hills, I pass stones that creep out of the ground as if coming alive.
And there I weep for my heart, once strong as stone, that not even boulders could knock it down, that now lies in a box put in the ground. I died that day, the day my heart was put away.
