Korea II

Contributed by The_Phantom on Saturday, 22nd February 2003 @ 10:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Where do I start, my world just fell apart,
The news came today, I've been extended another 90 days,
North Korea wants a war, all I want is to hold you in my arms,
But now I have to stay, cause North Korea wants to be brave,

I havn't seen my wife in a year, I've lost count of the tears,
The sky is gray, as it continoues to rain,
It's damp and cold, and I have no one to hold,
I'm lost in this horrid place, dreaming of your beauitiful face,

I want to cry, I'm dieing on the inside,
I'm living a nightmare, it seems no one cares,
I understand my country needs me, and I do this to keep Amercia free,
But still it makes no since, why can't I be home with my kids,

I always do my best, I don't get much rest,
I just want to go home, I'm tried of being alone,
I don't expect people to know how I feel,
My family, and YPDC are the only thing that seems real,

So here I go opening that door, asking for your love once more,
My heart has broken in two, Lord knows how much I love you,
I'm lost within myself, can anybody help,
Lord I come to you, allow me to go home.

Forever Faithful
The Phantom

Oh, I didn't know .. I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how painful your feelings must be to not see your loved ones for a year and then to have it extended. It must be a great relief to have this site to communicate in some way. God bless you, stay safe. Wonderful write. ... Jan
