LostLove

I hold a candle to the sun,
a love letter to the flame,
but how can I expect fire,
when all I wish for is rain.
You left the knife in my heart,
an image of your eyes in my mind,
how can you expect friendship,
when you drained the life from these veins.
The days are now living nightmares,
every person seems to have your face,
I forever hear your voice in my head,
and I have your chilling ghost in my bed.

Beautiful. That sums it up for me. Beautiful. You did a...well, beautiful,...job in captivating the emotions of a broken heart. A job well done. Keep writing!!

This was very well written. You did a great job expressing emotions. It hurts to lose a love.
Take care
