On the slope of the knoll
an angel whirls her wollen robe
in pastures of emerald and steel
and meadows of flame leap up
to the summit of the little hill.
The mould of the ridge
is trampled by bitter battles
and all the disaterous noises
describe it's own curve;
along the plateau, signs
of orients and of progress.
And while the band above
is composed of the revolving
and rushing hum
of seashells and of human nights,
the flowering sweetness of the stars
and all the rest,
descend on the knoll
like a breeze against my face..
making the abyss
perfumed and blue below;
discarded and loved by all
in a single promissory place.

Well my dear POEt friend please do excuse my fellow poets and their lack of comments on such a beautifully penned masterpiece.
Wow, the visions I got as I closed my eyes were simply breath taking & beautiful~
All I have are simple words nothing really to give your outstanding poetry the recognition & credit that it so much deserves.
Brilliant just like the poetic master who penned this magical masterpiece~
Flawless B, as is the rest of your amazing poetry~
much love from ur fan/friend,

Mi amore dolce,
You have always held a captive hold on brilliant metaphors and the like ..
-- why even the title itself, I find metaphorically pleasing and personal. ; )
This whole piece heaves a heavy sigh of comfort in a world of sharp edges
and rough angles. You have, (in your magnificent and incredibly poetic way),
found the softness of curves and smoothness of alignment .....
like a warm hug on a very cold day. :)
There are so many meanings one could derive from this piece, but I prefer to
embrace the more personal and topical meanings herein. I especially love
these lines .. (a notion, I suspect you might have known )
“the flowering sweetness of the stars
and all the rest,
descend on the knoll
like a breeze against my face..”
... like a breeze against my face-- how breathtakingly beautiful ... *sigh*
Honestly, sweetheart .. your incredible heart and mind are a fortune
of admiration and surprise! Never do you disappoint!!
Sorry to have come late to this love .. you know of my obligations
and such .. plus, I, (for once :P), just didn't know how to respond to this
masterpiece. You are truly one of the most remarkable poets ever
to grace the earth ..
eternally and with all my love
~Rox

Incredible piece. I can close my eyes and enjoy the view you have painted in my mind and feel that breeze and smell the blue air and hear the ban and its rushing hum and I can sit and write...again and again from that land alive space you have created. Well done and powerful write. |

again, Rimbaud. I must thank you Billy for introducing me to this fine poet. But I wonder is he were alive what would Rimbaud think of your Fraudulent ways?
