HOW DO YOU WATCH THE MAN YOU LOVE DIE
WHEN ALL YOU CAN DO IS WONDER WHY

I TRY THINKING BACK ON BETTER DAYS
BEFORE DEATH SHOWED ITS EVIL WAYS

BUT WATCHING THIS MAN WRITHE IN PAIN
I THINK I JUST MAY GO INSANE

HE WAS SO GOOD HE WAS SO KIND
A BETTER MAN YOU COULD NOT FIND

AS MUCH AS I WANT HIM HERE TO STAY
I CANT WATCH HIS SUFFERING ONE MORE DAY

SO I TELL HIM ITS OK TO GIVE IN TO DEATHS CALL
AND THATS WHEN I BEGIN MY FALL

DEPRESSION SETS IN AND CARRIES ME AWAY
I JUST DONT HAVE THE STRENGTH TO STAY

SO NOW I PRAY FOR GOD TO PLEASE END MY LIFE
BECAUSE I NEED MY HUSBAND
AND HE NEEDS HIS WIFE

it is a beautiful tribute to some we love the most.
As a widower I very well understand how it is to helplessly see some one we love die in pain...
