He said that, “I love you; I don’t care what you’ve done. I want you my darling, you are my only one.”
She said, “I don’t know, give me some time, I need to think.”
Then she went home and cried herself to sleep.
For she knew what she wanted, she knew what was right.
But she wondered to herself, how could he forgive her if she couldn’t forgive herself.
Now the fairytale is broken
A week went by
Her phone never stopped ringing with the sound of his calls
But she never answered, she didn’t know why.
All she knew is she needed more time.
Now the fairytale is over
He stopped calling
But left her a message calling her a whore
She cried herself to sleep every night
Knowing that she would never lay in his arms again.
And have him tell her he loved her.
He would never be able to forgive her.
Now the fairytale is broken
She called him and told him how sorry she was
How much she’d screwed up
How much she loved him and couldn’t be without him
He said,”Ok, but don’t ever do that to me again.”
She never did and never would but that didn’t matter
He stopped talking to her within the weeks end
Now the fairytales over
Now they still talk when they can
His voice makes her remember
All that she lost
And she’s never stopped crying
Because she knows that the fairytale is broken
