Problems

Contributed by Ruby2sdy on Monday, 5th February 2007 @ 04:56:05 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

You don't know what pain is,
Say you do, then start to cry,
It's not the agony of survival that's doing you in,
It's me; twisting in the knife,
And you just watch, unawares, as I stumble in the dark,
Trying to find the goddamned light switch,
Don't offer help, just stare,
Another voyeur on the edge of my existence,
Listen to my screams, but don't stifle the sound;
You don't understand,
Pain is real, and in my heart,
I feel it each time we're apart,
It eats me up, from the inside,
And then you tell me that you've lied,
You've broken one too many soul,
With eyes too empty, and arms too cold;
I'm not letting you break me up;
Poison; drunk too much.

Whoa! 2sdy .. that was quite the rant!! I hope you are okay .. so much of this was felt
deeply, hun, but especially this line here.
"Another voyeur on the edge of my existence"

wow .. I know this feeling, as I'm sure many can relate. It feels so sad to be in the middle
of a crowded existence .. alone

This was powerful, but still something about it seemed like a soft plea for comfort. I hope
the write helped, hun. Willfully crafted and brilliantly excecuted. I loved it.

One hell of a good write. Your feelings, boldly written. Let it flow...
Peace, Laura

mad are we? mmmm.... i liked it. there those times you want to take a pillow and hit the person -- or whatever it may be that one is upset about -- and hit the living daylights out of it, him, or her...thank you for sharing.
