Winter Wonder Land

Contributed by xXx_Fem_Fatale_xXx on Monday, 5th February 2007 @ 02:37:34 PM in AEST
Topic: ChildrensPoetry

On a cold winter's day
Your little footprints
Making a trail
Embedded in fresh snow

Hands reaching up
Catching snowflakes
Falling from the sky high above

Me little Miss glow face,
Enjoying every little thing
As you wander around
In Winter Wonder Land.

~~Nats~~

Awww Nats, This was great. I love watching my kids out in the snow and I'll never forget the first time each of them experienced snow. I could see your little one. *smiles*
Peace, Laura

In this brief write I too felt my first time in the snow what a joy. I can only imagine years from now she will share this poem with her daughter who will also be a glow face.

Well Done.

Peace

...and when her world is covered white
in purity and grace...
...teach her of snow angels...
your little Miss glow face

Your poem to your daughter is so full of love, so tender. I'm sure she will cherish this and hold it... and you... so very dear.

It's nice that you have captured the innocence of youth for her to look back on .
At that age everything is enchanting, mysterious and pure.Only when we get older do we become cynical.
I'm sure it will be a treasured memento for her

I really like this Nats. Made me reminisce about my daughter's childhood. Thank you. Smile!
