Out reach

Hopeless and faithless you seek something.
Something that is not there but you look.
Weakening to the end of your life you still search.
As you endure you only wish for more time.
Though inching closer time can just reach.
And you feel the slight touch of everything lost.
Though in truth you really have found it.
What you’re looking for in the end of time you have.
When looking too far you never really look closely.
There is where you miss it, the thing you look for.
The last remaining out reach in life.
The adventure of knowing you lasted and tried.
To find exactly what you had all along.
