She lay 'pon flowers of summer mist
Beneath the fog of sleeping clouds
veiling twilight's ember kiss
into a faded dying bliss
The kiss of a dying sun...
upon the night she rose anew
to roam the path of silent wolves
ever deeper through the woods
to fountains of a hidden world
A world of mist and dream...
There she met a man ; a beast
and licked his full vampiric lips
as mystic music swayed her hips
he longed with crystal dragon eyes
A love written in the blood...
soon they lay like gods enshrined
within the veins of fountain vines
engorged upon exotic blood
with eyes gazing blindly...
As eternity becomes them...

I really enjoyed this poem. Your word choice was excellent and made it into a very beautiful poem. I especially loved the first verse but the entire poem was excellent. |

..... *sits in stunned silence* .....
A caress of moonlight as weeping wounds partake in a bloody kiss... The rise of divine, pallid beasts as Night begins to unfold... Sweet mortification as your life begins to recede between the lips of Immortality...
Mesmerizing... Completely and utterly captivating, enough to make even the most chaste of heart succumb... Beautiful. I can't thank you enough for gracing these eyes with such a vivid and gorgeous masterpiece. I haven't read a vampiric poem like this in a long time... Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed this. Do keep writing, cheri. I'll keep a watchful eye. *hugs* All my love.
Always,
Your friend,
~Fleur |
