But just then,
the blue lizard started walking towards me.
Ble like her eyes,
but not quite like the skies.
There was a green on too,
but not one red.
The red one was dead.
Dead and gone,
but not for long.
With the sound of a gong,
the red one strolled along
with the green and blue close behind.
They all had spots.
Not the kind we all know.
They had spots kinda like snow.
Shapes were shifted, but not make-shifted.
But they still walked as the sand drifted.
The blue one looked to the green.
The green peered back to the blue.
The red grew impatient.
He yelled for them to hurry
and they began to quickly scurry.
They had to be fast to get the curry.
Now the green grew tired.
He yelled for the red to wait.
The red had no care for this.
"Leave him!" he said.
And farther into the desert went the red.
And the blue knew.
He knew why the green was slow.
Green didn't go with the flow.
It just wasn't his show.
As red gre mor angry,
blue built up some anger too.
No one likes an angry blue.
When blue gets angry, he gets even.
So even he got.
Red would sleep on the cot.
Green and blue got the bed.
They got to town,
but they're curry was brown.
Green threw his bowl down.
He wouldn't have this.
He needed the best,
and this was not it.
This curry was pure ****!
Green found the waiter and he killed him quick.
Blue and red didn't mind.
They were of the same kind.
Colored lizards show no mercy.

I dont know how, but I strangely enjoyed this poem. It was so random it was like I was on psychadelic drugs.
Go to youtube and find some movies on Spam, animation. They are just as random.
Keep writing (I think)

Jim Morrison sat up in his grave at Cimetiere du Pere Lachaise and was found ROTFLHAO which actually detached easily. Love the imaginative portrait and enjoyed this I did. I also think the line "...This curry was pure..." 'dung' would have worked well. Definitely keep writing and posting and polish your gems here at the tumbler known as YPDC.
Good Job
Peace

Almost Dr Seuss-like! I never knew where this was going. The new rhyming word always taking it someplace else/ So different to anything I've read on here for a while, which can only be a good thing. :] |
