taken so quickly

Topic: SadPoetry

as i'm staring out of the little round window,
i see the tall rectangle window that i last saw you in,
tears ran down my face as i was thinking of you saying be safe kiddow,
you said it with love in your voice and a big grin,

we've taken off i can no longer see you,
all i see are the clouds surrounding the plane,
as i'm sitting here thinking of the million things i have to do,
my thoughts come back to you,

i called you to tell you that i made it safe,
you didn't answer,
who knew that you would go so fast,
who knew that you had cancer,

you never told me,
you never got help,
living a long life was the key,
you should of told me and you should of tried to fight longer,

i can say i should of,
i can say i wish,
i would of shown more love,
everyday i would of given you a kiss,

but i can't spend the rest of my time morning over you being gone,
i have to give my time to those who i love,
i won't forget you but i've got to move on,
so next time i'm above,
above in the clouds,
i'll think of you,

I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU

hey there I read this and it touched me so much. I have delt with this kind of pain before. I 've had a few family memebers pass away with cancer. It hurts so much. I can only imagine how much it would hurt to know that the whole time someone knew that they had cancer and they never let their loved ones know. But to each his own. Be strong and remember that you will see this person again one day. -Teresa

Very sad but a good write and it shows you wisdom, compassion and luv.
A fine tribute and I'm sure the person is just one of your guardian angels watching over you.
Big huggs, thought s, prayer,
emy
