A Heartfelt Sigh

" A Heartfelt Sigh "

I was not with you to say good-bye
now I am left to live and to cry
deep in my heart your name is traced
etched for eternity to never be erased
As I now sit here where you now lay
I silently cried and started to pray
god, please watch over this love of mine
I hope all is well and they are fine
The sky this day is dark and dreary
as though God himself is sad and teary
tears in my eyes A Heartfelt Sigh
I try to whisper my final goodbye
I miss you so much and I feel so sad
I loved and cherished all that we had
When it becomes my day, I’ll be with you
I really miss the beautiful things we used to do
as I leave I kiss your stone and give my love
I look up and I watch my angel rise above
I slowly stood up and put flowers upon the ground
I sadly turned and walked away crying without a sound!!!!!

I think this is a great write. Whether it was a lost love, or a lost loved one I can relate. I've been there as alot of people have and I know that the hurt of someone's passing never goes away especially someone you were so close to. You will always think about that person, and they will always still be with you. once again great write, and very touching. - teresa aka lilbit9494

I really enjoyed this poem, it touched me as we all lose love ones or someone we loved. Whether it be to the grave or to life we all have this feeling at some point in letting something go that we cherished so much. You grabbed my attention with your words and I love reading your work. Thank you keep it coming.
