You left me lonely
Why did you leave?
My heart is small
And I grew mean

We keep in touch a letter or two
Water separates our holding hands
We had each other for a short time
Who ever knew this would hurt so much

You knew me well
We smiled each day
We kept our secret
What else can I say?

You asked me a question and I answered true
You felt a connection and I thanked you
We almost had a moments kiss
I wanted it so bad but didn’t tell you this

As I try to end this right
I hide my sadness with some delight
We will see each other again
Not today nor tomorrow, but soon

europeanprincess, the past flames of love will never die or fade as it was a special blessing that was heaven made. Please enjoy the memories and try not to shed a tear because the love once had is forever near. You are so awesome and I can only ask that you may never consider placing your poetic pen down because your reading fans would miss you leaving us all with a sad frown. You are so wonderful.
Mickey Pig Knuckles :)
