You starred on the Andy Griffith show as a barber named Floyd.
When your shop was taken out of the show, many fans were annoyed.
You were paralyzed after having a stroke and you had to be filmed sitting or standing.
You did a great job even though it must have been demanding.
You continued working after being paralyzed and many people were impressed.
But those people were also saddened in 1969 when you were laid to rest.
When you died, it was pretty rotten.
Floyd the barber will never be forgotten.
