So sick of trying to be something I’m not
When all it does is leave an empty spot.
Always trying to fit in where ever I go.
But as I think about these things I think I need more time to grow.
Time to find out just who I am
Or who I want to be....
Trying to release myself
From the people sea
Always worrying about if I’m going to be liked
But by me trying so hard does that make me disliked?
So why try so hard to fit in
Why try so hard to blend
When I can just be me
After all that’s all I can be....
