AN INCREDIBLE GIFT

We have been given an incredible gift, the garment of praise, it has replaced all of our weeping and mourning with thanksgiving and joy-

Releasing the power of the Lord to conquer and slay all of our enemies, and to overcome the power of him that comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy-

When we put it on, we become invincible, no matter how great and powerful our foes, they will not be able to stand before us, but in confusion, they will slay one the other-

Come now and sanctify yourself, and put on this incredible gift, don’t hold onto your old ways-

But with humility surrender yourself to its power, glory, and authority, as one who worships' and always prays-

It will keep you safe, strong, and sure, even in the midnight hour-

Where darkness prevails, and seems to be invincible, aloft in his strong standing tower-

But our sweet and delightful song shall make his walls crumble falling flat to the ground-

Setting all the captives and the prisoners free, filling there hearts with the word of the gospel, as we continually make that peaceful and joyful sound-

Singing the praises of the Lord: He is worthy of all honor and glory, in the beauty of holiness, with peace, joy and boldness-

We have been given an incredible gift, the garment of praise, a suit of amour, which cannot be penetrated by our enemies-

There arrows shall bounce harmlessly off our breastplate, as we march triumphantly through His gate-

They will fall helplessly at our feet, as they run from before us seven ways in an all out retreat-

So don’t be dissuaded, be in every channel of your mind be faithfully and eternally persuaded-

Always uplifting and glorifying the goodness of the Lord, no matter your position or predicament-

Yielding your every member to His every good and perfect commandment-

Wow joe-joe, your poem packs such a message of reality that many seem to miss or avoid all together as I am amazed that no one has commented. I want to Thank You for sharing both a little of yourself and especially your wonderful talent with all of us and would ask that you please keep your pens ink flowing so your awesome words of poetry keeps growing.
